PSYCHOLOGIST/ CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST / PSYCHOLOGY REGISTRAR / PROVISIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST

INVOKE PSYCHOLOGY is offering private practice positions for psychologists, clinical psychologists, and clinical psychology registrars, psychology registrars and provisional psychologists.

 

INVOKE PSYCHOLOGY is a well-established Victorian based private psychology practice which provides psychological assessment and intervention in clinical, developmental, and forensic settings. Our mission is to provide ethically sustainable best practice psychological services in a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.

We are offering multiple Independent Contractor positions for registered psychologists to consult for 2-5 days via a mix of telehealth or face-to-face appointments at our Thomastown or Port Melbourne Offices.

Excellent remuneration:

  • Based on 50-minute client sessions.

  • No costs for room hire, referrals, supervision and training.

  • Generous take-home amount per session for fully registered / endorsed psychologists, with an increase upon completion of the registrar program where relevant.

Peer support and Supervision:

  • One-on-one training to establish key skills needed for working in private practice.

  • Direct support with our board-approved Principal Psychologist on an as-needed basis.

  • Supervision with a board approved supervisor.

We are also offering a limited number of placement opportunities for provisionally registered psychologists who are enrolled in an APAC accredited postgraduate degree program.

 

Key Selection Criteria

Please contact INVOKE PSYCHOLOGY if you:

  • Provide high-quality evidence-based psychological services that are tailored to the needs of your client.

  • Are skilled in the application of evidence-based treatment modalities, including CBT, ACT and Schema Therapy.

  • Have the demonstrated ability to manage, maintain and provide timely and accurate client records.

  • Have experience in clinical assessment, case formulation, treatment planning and intervention.

  • Have a working knowledge of the ethical considerations associated with providing psychological intervention to vulnerable clients.

  • Have a demonstrated commitment to working in line with AHPRA guidelines and recommendations.

  • Seek the opportunity for career advancement and future full-time employment opportunities with INVOKE PSYCHOLOGY.

  • Are fully registered with AHPRA as a psychologist, or have provisional registration or have started, or are close to starting, your clinical registrar program.

  • Are willing to obtain an ABN, Medicare Provider Number, Police Check, Working with Children Check and Professional Indemnity Insurance and to provide your immunisation status.
